Sunday 4th May
So, we'd had our perfect weekend.... we'd gone out shopping and got items to finish our Mother's day presents... (you can probably tell that we'd been doing them, as Blake had paint all through his hair) ..... We got home and on our way up the stairs Blake tripped.... and because he was holding a DVD that he was wanting to watch - he maintained grip on the case and didn't put his hands out in front of him - and his head connected with the corner of the stair....
There was immediate screaming - Jade came running back to see what was going on... I picked Blake straight up and covered his head and sent Jade straight to her room - I wasn't sure what we were going to be dealing with and the last thing I needed was Blake with some massive gash in his forehead and a horrified sister....
Luckily, it only just broke through the skin.... but it took a while to settle him down and lots of cuddles on the couch....
I was expecting a massive bruise the next day... but by morning it had just turned a light yellow and was nearly invisible.....
