Saturday 18th January
We headed to Awoonga Dam with the Surf Ski and Drew and Debra came down from Rocky with a couple of their Kayak's to have a paddle and a BBQ at the Dam.....
We got the kids life jackets so that they could go on the surf ski - but also - to be safe.... you can't see much under the water once you go under..... and it was a novelty.... so it all worked out....
(It also meant that we were able to throw the kids in the water and not stress)
Drew brought down a kids kayak for the kids to play in... they thought this was fantastic.....
Drew was practising his rolling... that was interesting to watch....
Debra going for a bit of a tow......
Not sure it works on the rocks Blake.... but nice try....
We had a great day... Drew and Debra came back to our place for dinner and hung around until the early evening...... was fantastic :)
