Dance Fever 2015

((For some reason this didn't post when I wrote it and was sitting in drafts.... so now, it's out of order!))

Tuesday 8th December

This is Jade's first competition for Dance Fever... this is a program through the school and is the kids PE program for the 4th term.... years 3-6 get to compete (last year it was 4-7 ... but obviously with dropping a year level out they let another year level in

Unfortunately I don't have any videos of the kids dancing because there was an issue with my phone and before I'd been smart enough to copy all of the files off it - I did a factory reset - and lost it all.....

Central is by far the biggest school to compete in this competition because all of the kids participate... (well a couple of kids opt out of the competition - but it's only really a couple of kids out of the four year levels... so not even noticeable....  The other schools have Dance Fever as an elective and so only have a few students....  when it comes to the "School Dance" part of the evening you really notice the differences when Central takes up most of the dance floor with the 200 odd students and the other schools only had 10-20 kids.... Such an awesome school :) 

Blake was a little worn out by the end of the night... 

Brisbane Trip - Day 2 - Complimentary Breakfast!

Saturday 12th December

It wasn't until we checked in that we found out that the cabin came with free breakfast!  Only Continental... but... free is free!

Jade wasn't feeling too great....

I had my own breakfast with me.... so I just had a coffee :)

and then it was time to get back into the pool.....

Brisbane Trip - Day 1 - at the Van Park

Friday 11th December

We finally arrived at the van park.... chucked our gear into the room and then the kids wanted to hit the pool straight away.....  It was overcast, but it was still hot... 

Our cabin was right on the pool....  perfect!

Stopped swimming for a little bit to have some food...

The cabin was very compact... but for less than $100 per night, we weren't about to be upset by it!

They swam until it was time to close the pool....

Brisbane Trip - Day 1

Friday 11th December

So we're off to Brissy.....  last day of school (but shhhh - we escaped!)

I told Blake to grab some books to read while he was away... (they were going from the Brissy trip to spend a week in Bundy... so this was his plan for a weeks worth of reading)

Honey loves travelling.... Honey was picked up in Gin Gin by Mom & Dad and she spent the weekend with them....

Lets do this!!!

When we got to Brissy - Rob had to head to Umart to pick up computer supplies - so he dropped us at Maccas so that the kids could have something to eat and play .... (which worked out well... he was gone for nearly an hour and the kids would have gone crazy in that time if they were stuck in the car waiting)

The playland at this Maccas was amazing!
