Then this happened.... We took Greg, Jade & Blake down to the local photographer that had taken Blake's Milk-Teeth photos and did a photo shoot with them.... the kids had a great time and the photos are awesome :)

While the kids were at school - I gave their rooms a quick tidy up....... of course, Jade's room provided the most entertainment......

LED Christmas Lights.....

Friday 20th November

Mom and Dad had bought an LED light projector to shine lights in their back yard... the kids thought this was great fun to play in as it would light them up....

Down to Bundy to pick up the Prado

Friday 20th November

After school pick up - the kids and I were off to Bundy to pick up the Prado and return Mom and Dad's i30... the Prado had been sent down to be re-sprayed, new wheels (the old ones were peeling and looked terrible), new tyres and a service.... (it's too expensive to do all of this in Gladstone with the "Gladstone-Tax" that makes most things in town about twice as expensive as they need to be... and all because of the Fly-In-Fly-Out workers that are in town that have driven up rental prices and everything else... and they're not staying in town to spend their money, so the locals suffer).

Loaded up in the i30... we're on our way....

So happy to see the Shiny Prado :)

Ryder's first birthday.....

We headed to the Kenzler house to celebrate Ryder's 1st Birthday... and well, I didn't take any pics of the real party action, nor did a take a pic of the birthday boy.... but... here's Blake and Paige playing with the party hats..... (well, Blake wearing one... Paige playing!)

and working out how to drink her frozen coke while still wearing as many party hats as possible.... I believe she got up to about 6 at one point....

Puggle the Puker

Tuesday 10th November

Poor Blake, not having a great day... I got a call from the school to go and pick him up... he'd puked three times at school and hadn't told anyone... the only way they found out was that the janitor had found it and someone went "oh, I think it was Blake" - so then they went to check on him... white as a ghost... not a well little guy but he was trying to power on with his day at school.....

I ended up having to change the sheets at home three times during the day... was not a great day for anyone....

Blake's 7th Birthday Party.....

Sunday 8th November

We've always said that the kids only get one big party every 5 years.... and then on the other years we usually do a BBQ or something and invite a couple of friends... Well, over the years Jade has had one of these each year.... Blake hasn't... we've generally been at Conondale for his birthday and as much fun as it is to have a camping birthday, he doesn't get to have any of his friends over... so.. this year, just to be nice, we decided to invite a few friends over and have a slightly bigger party.... (though, not a full blown party like the 5 and 10 ones)......
