We went on a Harbour cruise for Nat's engagement party....  So Derby people and work people meant that I knew a fair chunk of people at the party... Yay!

We had a brilliant night on the barge....  couldn't believe it was time to finish up when it go back....  could have easily stayed out another few hours... great company always makes for an easy great night.....

Wiggles.......

Sunday 6th November....

We headed to the Wiggles... Blake had never been to see them... and he hadn't ever really shown an interest... mind you, it's at this age that Jade started caring about them... But they were coming to town and I jumped in and bought tickets....

My friend Alana said that I should either get roses for Dorothy - or make a bone for Wags....  At the time she said this I was going "great, I've got 2hrs before I need to leave... I don't have time....."  - - but I'm glad I made the effort....  

I got the kids ready and took them down to Mom and Dad's so that I could get the bones made... with Mom's help.... 

Because it was their Birthday Tour... we put "Happy Birthday" banners on the bottom of the bones with a "To Wags" on one side and "Love from Jade/Blake" on the other side... the kids thought this was great....

Clearly posing on the back steps was too bright for them....

Blake was so excited to see Jeff walk up the side....

Blake loved every minute of the show.....

His FAVOURITE part was when he got to get up on stage with the wiggles...

Background - Blake made the bone for WAGS... so when the girls came up and wanted to take it to Wags he said "but I made it for Wags, I want to give it to Wags...."

I told him that the girls had to take it up to Wags - but they'd make sure he got it....

Blake said "Alright....." and handed the bone over.... and as he walked back to me he burst into tears... his little heart shattered... but he didn't have a tanty - he was just sad....

The girl asked if it would be ok to take him up on stage....  so he went down....

(you'll have to excuse the filming - I was busy actually watching him up on stage at the time - so at one point you can only really see his bum.... but it was very cute - and if you listen closely - you'll hear the audience cheer and "awwwww" at Blake while he's up on stage....)
