Sick Blobby.....

Tuesday 23rd June

So, after dealing with Blake at 2am.... I then heard Jade get up... so I got straight up and headed to the hallway to make sure she was ok (unusual for her to get up during the night) - no one was in the hallway... next thing I knew, Jade was coming out of our room (she'd gone through the sliding doorway that joins our rooms)...

She told me that she'd been sick in her room and didn't want to step in it and that's why she didn't come out of her room.... 

I got her changed and cleaned up and sent her to our room...   I cleaned up her room and headed back to bed... (not that I managed to get to sleep.... and neither did Jade....  it wasn't a very pleasant few hours before Blake got up to start the day)

Jade spent the entire day on the couch reading (I think she got through about 3 of her Tom Gates books)....

Hopefully that's the end of it..... back to school tomorrow.....

Tooth Number 5 gone!

Monday 22nd June

Blake lost tooth number 5.... he lost it at school and then nearly lost it in his bag.... luckily we managed to find it!

He put the tooth in a glass in his bedroom and went to bed....   

At 2am - I heard him up and went to see what was going on... he said that he was too hot and couldn't sleep... so I turned his aircon on and put his projector on and left the room - at this point I realised that I hadn't done the tooth-fairy run and started to panic....  and rather than risk falling asleep and not waking in time to do it before he woke up - I took the glass into the room (the switching glass) and hid it behind my back and went to "check" on Blake... 

Luckily it was dark enough and he couldn't see that I was hiding it...  I accidentally spilt a bit of the water onto the floor... the noise sounded like Jag scratching the floor so Blake said "ooh - there's a cat in here" ... LUCKILY.. Jag then walked into the room (as the door was open) so I quickly switched the glasses and picked Jag up and put him on Blake's bed....

Blake said "oh, I don't want him in here..."

"ok... I'll take him out.... c'mon Jag!"

and Ta-daaaaah! glass swap - Puggle was none the wiser!

Jade & Blake both played at 10am - therefore to take photos - I had to split my time between games... which means that Rob and I play tag team....   I went with Blake first to get the first half of his game (as it's less than 20mins - 40 mins for the full game) and Jade's game goes for an hour...

Before the game Robert (the coach) gave the kids a talk about if someone falls down, stop and help them up - even if they're on the other team....   I loved that it was put into action in the game....
