Honey and BB help with the lawns......

Wednesday 10th August

Honey and BB have decided to help with the mowing..... by showing their support... and, getting in the way...... they had to move every time I came past, and then I'd turn around and they'd go straight back to the same spot.... and they'd have to move when I came again.... eventually their part of the lawn was mowed, then they just kept an eye on me....

When we first got BB he was in reasonably poor condition, he'd been kept at the pound in Bilo - plus he'd obviously been in a cement outdoor enclosure at his trainers... because he had no hair on his hind quarters and his ribs were showing more than normal.....

So, Rob was feeding him twice a day... his condition came good really quickly....

The downside of this, Honey was also eating twice a day...... and she got fat really quickly too!!!

Tuesday 9th August

BB's decided that if he doesn't look at me, then I can't see him... and he's not REALLY on the couch..... then he can't get in trouble and be told to get down.....

Friday 5th August

On the road again....this time to head up to a tournament in Mackay... unfortunately my back was still not good enough for me to be comfy to skate.... so, I was on the microphone announcing.... but that's ok.....

Stopped at Carmila for a pit-stop and ran into some other Hustlers......

Then we got to Mackay and headed straight to Woolworths to get supplies for the weekend....

Happiness is getting to the Hotel and discovering that you do infact have your toiletries bag - so you will have clean teeth - and control of your uncontrollable hair... (and... strapping tape... cause you can't travel without strapping tape when you play roller derby!)

Then it was time to mooch and watch TV with Zerky before crashing for the night.....

Friends was on TV... yay!

We had to kill time until Cass and Reebs arrived, so that we could let them into the room......

They're here... now we can sleep!!!

Saturday 6th August

When your league shirts no longer fit.... wear a league shirt from a different country.... this is one that Rob brought back from Canada :)

We found Di-Polar and D-Block at the venue......

Then it was time for the team to do a recovery swim session.... and at this point I was grateful to not be a player this weekend... it was cold!

Got back to the room and discovered that not only did I have the sticker on my hoodie.... the backing of the sticker had been ripped up and stuffed into hood of my hoodie..... yeah, thanks Fisty!

Chill time again, while we waited for pizza!!!

Sunday 7th August

And we're back! Day Two.....

Then I got to hang with Sammich for a bit....

And then there was Rumpy..... she wasn't bouting on the second day as she'd had a fall in the Saturday night game and smacked her head pretty hard.....

Then there was the fun of realising that your camera is turned on while the phone was on the table..... and I realised that I could see Rumpy..... so I started clicking....

Oh Rumpy..... you're all kinds of special!
