Monday 23rd January
It's been a very long last couple of weeks to the school holidays... and I must say that I'm glad school has gone back... but I'm thinking that Jade is even more glad than I..... She got up this morning - very excited about going back to school and putting on her new uniform and her new shoes....
I used to love school - so I understand the thrill of going back to school after the holidays - a new classroom - new teacher - new classmates......
Does she look like a Year One kid?? I'm not sure she's changed a lot since last year.... but I see her daily... so I'm not going to notice it as much.....
Poor Blake's got another stye... he's had a real run of them lately.... poor little guy....

Elijah is in Jade's class again... so she Eli and Heath are all sitting at one table right up the front of the classroom.... (hopefully that means they'll be paying a lot of attention to the teacher!)
Rob made it this year - Jade was so happy to have him there while she got settled in....

Jade had a brilliant day at school - came home telling me all about it.. and how she got to play in the new playground with her new friends (she couldn't remember their names though... ehehe - it's very exciting being in year 1 so you don't need to care what the kids names are!)
