Tuesday 3rd January
First up we had a visit from a home midwife.... just to confirm that all is going well with Cruiz's growth and to have the midwife check out her tongue tie and lip tie.....
The midwife confirmed that the tongue tie was definitely something to be sorted (which included taking her to the hospital to have the tie cut - which had to be booked in)....
Then we headed to Toyworld to spend some Christmas Money.....
I thought these toys were a joke.... they were a real thing... and Blake decided he just HAD to have one!
Blake wanted his hair blue for the school holidays...
Waiting... Waiting.....
Washing....
Washing....
and then it pretty much all washed out...... Bugger!
Liv took Jade to ANOTHER nail salon... this time for acrylic nails as her other nails had been chipped/scratched off within a day or so...
While Liv got her nails done, Jade and I took Cruiz and went time-wasting in BigW
We then approached a hairdressing salon to ask what they would suggest for a boy to colour his hair blue ... we were told to bleach it first.... that wasn't going to happen.. so we opted for the darkest blue we could find in hope that it would be enough to just go over his natural dark-blonde....
this was looking better already....
Ta-daaaah! He was much happier this time around....
By the time we headed out for dinner it had dried and was definitely blue.... there was no mistaking it.....
Someone had a bit too much to eat and was feeling full....
dessert time.... Jade ordered crepes
Blake went for ice cream and topping....
I guess she was happy with her choice....
