I did mean to put this with the last post.....  and I did forget....

But, it is definitely worth Tom having a post of his own....  Brilliant work Tom!!!!

Bethia and the Boys Visit - Day 5

Tuesday 23rd August

So, we quickly came to our final day with Bethia and the boys....  I couldn't believe it was upon us already.... we headed to the Kubby House to let the kids run loose while we had ourselves some coffee....

and THIS is what Jade's hair looks like down.... I guess people will stop wondering why I tie it back now.... but then again, maybe not....  although, the messy look isn't my only reason to tie it back.... school bugs REALLY put me off letting her have it out and free....

And this time the mess is blamed on Cheerios.... you'll note the tomato sauce in his hair... very stylish!

Just as we were getting ready to leave, the kids discovered the Jet fighter thingy....

and at 20c - everyone got a go....

even when it's not your go - you can sit on top! :)

We left the Kubby house around 12... and decided to not even bother trying to get Blake down for a sleep... It was now time to teach Tom to ride a BMX with no training wheels....  

(our last afternoon, talk about leaving it to the last minute..... but we managed it.... GO TOM!!!!!)

Always good when they're still smiling even when they fall....

He really got a lean happening - and maintained control....

Tiny and Blake happily sat inside eating their apples....

Oh, another last minute thing... we gave the kids their bubble wands... that we'd got on Saturday..... 

and out came the chalk....  I'm proud to say that my driveway is VERY pretty right now!

Although, it does get in the way a bit....

Tiny is just like Blake and Jade were..... they're all toe walkers....

 (although, Blake and Jade appear to have grown out of it.... Tiny still does it... it's very cute...)

Tiny found Blake's sunnies....

At 3 we decided to get the kids bathed as they were all a very special shade of black.... and Tom and Tiny had to look at least half respectable for the flight back to Sydney.... 

I got Blake some Ben10 Boxer shorts and with an afternoon to kill  where Blake was already nice and clean for bed - I decided to not opt for the clothes as he would have wanted to go back outside....  so I put him in boxers....  he was very excited about this as he's never worn them before...

It was sad to see Bethia and the boys leave.... although the kids didn't really seem to react.... I'm guessing it's because they don't really understand how far away everyone lives... they'll work it out soon enough....  it was a fantastic 5 days and I can't wait til we can catch up again....  hopefully next time we've got Mark here too... *hint hint*
