Saturday 11th August
After the bout is always the after party.... and definitely well earned.... I hit the lemonade hard that night... having a total of 2... :)
Oh, and I forgot to mention in the last post - about halfway through the second half, the jammer for the other team (Jac Nippleson) fell infront of me... all of the tweed girls are so small that I jumped her to avoid landing on top of her and hurting her.... but in coming down I landed with her skate lodged firmly in my thigh.... it felt like someone had cut a huge hole in my leg and I was going to bleed out... when I got up my leg was definitely cursing at me.. I couldn't see anything except a pink patch.....so it looked like I'd just slapped my leg on the ground and I had no real idea what had happened....
At the after party I headed off to the toilet and once I'd got off the fishnets and dance tights I could see that I had a wheel shaped hole in my thigh not cool..... I still have a large haematoma in my left thigh - but it's gradually going down.....

The Following Day...
It didn't occur to me til about 11am that the Tweed girls would have to check out of their hotel at 10am and their flight wasn't til 2pm - so I contacted Poisonality (Shelley) and offered to come and collect them all and bring them to the house before we had to get them to the airport....

Poisonality forgot to give me hugs to say bye - so she quickly had to run back out...

and this is how I spent my afternoon - completely exhausted from such a full day the day before... and all rugged up as I was having to ice my thigh and it was making me completely frozen...
Blake happily spent the afternoon on the bed with me watching cartoons....
