The kids school concert is coming up - and I have to make Blake into a Frog for his class presentation..... was a lot of fun to create... :)

Meteor's Soccer Breakup 2014

Sunday 14th September

The kids had their soccer breakup - and this year - we didn't need to rush off early for me to get to derby training.... so... WINNING! :)  Also, didn't have to run around after either child or even have to worry about where they were.....

Another fantastic year of soccer and both kids blossoming so much over the season :)  Can't wait for next year... (though, I do enjoy the break!)

Blake's School Project.....

Sunday 14th September...

This is technically Blake's second project for Prep.. the first one was a book report he had to give to his class... he was sick at that time, so we did a video and put it up on YouTube for the teacher to view (and maybe show the class...)....

This one was a little hard to understand what exactly was expected.. but he had to pick three events and present them in different ways....  and then he had to fill in a questionnaire on one of them... so we chose his 5th Birthday Party, Christmas 2013 and our Whale Watching trip.....

Wall Removal - Part 2.....

Saturday 13th September

We continued with the wall removals downstairs....   Still wanting to look at what options we'd have for future renovations etc... we decided that removing these walls was a necessity... and we're not disappointed with it.... :)

We had always thought that the hideous orange floor paint downstairs was something that had been around since the 70's... but these walls were put in in '99 (according to the date stamping on the fibro.... and the paint was definitely not under the walls....)

We also discovered that at some point, the walls had been yellow....

and Green....

Nice and open downstairs now....

Green AND yellow suggests that at one point it was green - and one point yellow.... not at the same time!

The view from the laundry... we've left Greg's room there - it's a great guest room and the other guest room is to become the new gym......
