Friday 3rd January
We took the kids ice skating while they were in town.... Jade was over the moon about going back and Blake was a bit unsure about whether he wanted to do this... and he was less impressed about the cold once we got inside......

Uncle Frank came with us.....
Time to get Blake skating....
It didn't take long to get Blake's confidence up....
Then he was willing to go on his own....
Jade was happy to get herself skating... though, she was happy to skate around with me at times too....
Then it was time to play on the toboggans...... the kids got 5 rides each....
Then back to skating....
Someone a little sick of having a camera in her face....
After the session they scrape the ice so that they can prepare for the next sesion.... then they invite the kids to hang around for a snowball fight.....
