Friday 9th November.....
We headed down to Bundaberg to spend the weekend with Mom and Dad and go and see a Derby Bout while we were there... (Rob had offered his services as G33K - so he had to be there... but the rest of us went just for fun....)
We headed down once school was finished and got there in time for dinner... (awesome planning! eheh)
We loaded up Frank's plate with all of our chicken bones to make it look like he'd completely pigged out, and then put a pic on Facebook - cause that's what you do! ;)

Saturday 10th November....
Dad's magpies came looking for breakfast.....
Once breakfast was over, Rob and I headed to the rink to help the girls set up for the bout....
They've had the rink painted with their league logo - how awesome is that!??! :)
Fencing was set up to control the crowd.... :)
Rob's been losing weight.... at this point I think he'd dropped nearly 10kgs.....

Sunday 11th November....
The following morning we got up and there was a mention on Facebook about Tweed having an intraleague bout... and one thing led to another... and we arranged for Mom and Dad to keep Jade and Blake for another night - and Rob and I headed off to Tweed with Bacon (Warrne) (who had come up from Brissy and spent the night at Mom and Dad's)
I travelled down with Bacon to Brissy to pick up his wife Sundae (Kellie) and then head down to Tweed to meet up with Rob.. I travelled down with Bacon so that I actually had conversation in the car - rather than sitting in silence with Rob who listens to audio books.. hehe
Bacon works for Coca-Cola - so this was a "tsk tsk" type photo... hehee...

We stopped at this drive through coffee shop called Muzz Buzz and got iced coffee frappe's and these amazing warm donut balls... most amazing thing EVER!
(ok - I probably say that kind of thing a lot)
Rob got roped into NSO'ing down in Tweed... so he was a happy boy...

After the bout we headed off to Cactus Jacks back in Brissy and had a really really really nice steak and then Chocolate Nacho's.... these two definitely know how to find awesome food.... we were going to crash the night at Bacon and Sundae's house - but decided to just drive back to Bundaberg to save having to do the drive the next day....
That was the longest drive of my life, I tried so hard to stay awake... Rob and I were playing with Spotify to try to find songs for various derby players on my team, but no matter how hard I tried to fight it - my eyes kept forcing themselves shut..... (probably only having 2hrs sleep the night before because I was up talking to Bacon all night and then up at sparrows because the kids were awake)
We got back to Bundy about 2:30am... and were awake at 5am when the kids came out of their room....
