Shade Sail #1........

For Christmas, Mom and Dad gave Rob & I a 3.7 x 3.7m Shade Sail..... and once we decided where to put it, they'd come and install it....we had originally talked about it going outside the kitchen landing (obviously at level 1 height) -so that we can put our outdoor table setting under it (and we got Bunnings Vouchers from Rob's mom for Xmas which should be enough to buy a table and chairs!!!!! - - - gotta love Christmas presents!!!)

Anyway, after plotting out how far a 3.7m x 3.7m shade sail would go - and then working out the 5x5 shade sail, we decided that the 3.7 would fit better over the sandpit and we'd get another shade sail for the "entertainment" area.....  (obviously this will all be temporary until we work out how we're going to do the verandah upstairs which will create a downstairs entertainment area shade etc etc... but that could be years away... and the kids need to be in the yard now.......)

Mom and Dad working out where to put the pole for the 4th corner of the sail...

Blake not really caring, because we pulled the old mini-trampoline out of the shed which has now become "Blake's Trampoline"

Bounce Bounce....

Which was all well and good until he discovered that Grandpa brought his "Grandpa Manny" Tools with him, then he wanted to help!!!!

Better stop for a refresher.... mmmm pepsi....

And Back to work....

"What's down there???"

"Let's move some of this dirt into my truck!!!"

Dad & Rob having a break while Frank does some digging....

Concrete into Hole....

Stand it all up straight....

Clean out the wheel barrow before Dad gets upset at set concrete!

Mom busily writing "2011" into the concrete - wonder how that will turn out....

Making sure the pole is straight.... looks good to us... anyone wants to argue they're welcome to come and dig a new hole!  :P~~~~

Once again.... thanks Mom and Dad for all your help....
(Oh, and Frank who turned up once again hoping the work was done and he was going to get a coffee!! heheh - - - Poor Frank had to do some digging too!)
