Nathan & Jenna's Wedding

Saturday 19th November

We headed into the city to attend the Ceremony between my cousin Jenna and her future husband.... It was a really lovely church in the middle of the city... and surprisingly easy to find.... so that was awesome.... we parked just down the road from the ceremony and walked across the street.... BRILLIANT!

Blake still wasn't very happy - his ear was sore and everytime someone hugged him - they pushed on it - so he'd start screaming...  not to mention that his toe was hurting inside his shoe....  but he put on a brave face and powered on.....

This is Lucas... my cousin Kim's son.... he's 2 months younger than Blake... but very tall....
(not surprised.... Kim is about 6ft)

My handsome little guy....

Look at that face.... not that I'm at all biased.. but he was the most gorgeous little boy there....

And Jade was all excited to wear her new dress....  and sitting so nicely with Rob....

Carl
(for those who get confused with my family - Carl is another cousin - the brother of Kim)

Lucas again
(this is only the second time ever I'd met Lucas - and first for some of the other family - so I took lots of pics!)

Mr & Mrs Nathan Spurling

Because Blake was still quite upset - coupled with the fact that he didn't get a chance to have an afternoon sleep - we ducked back to the Cabin after the wedding to wait until it was time to head to the reception....  So we didn't have to go and hang out at a pub in the city - which was also a BRILLIANT plan... :)

(Given that neither Rob or I really drink anything - missing out on pub action wasn't really going to upset us)

The wedding cake - and yes, Nathan is a huge Wrestling fan...

The kids took to the dance floor as soon as we arrived... they had a ball....

The MC's....
(apparently if you live in Brissy - you should know who the guy is... some sports reporter (and his wife)... but we only know Nathan because he's the local sports reporter..... but again, this is only if you watch TV... so I know him from billboards!)

Declan and Noah Dancing away...

This is a new idea - I haven't seen this at a wedding before.... but they had a polaroid camera... it only took small polaroid pics.. but the idea is to take a pic of yourself and then stick it in their wedding book with your well wishes etc.....

Polaroids....

The book....  We shared a page with Damian & Jaime.... :)
