Superbikes 2012 - Day 8 - Bed Time Scooting.....

Wednesday 29th February

Just before bed, the kids wanted to play on their powerwings again.....  it didn't get dark down in Victoria til about 8:30-9pm.... it was terrible for trying to get kids to go to sleep.... hehe

A good way to wear them out is to let them exercise.... or so we thought....

Superbikes 2012 - Day 8 - Meeting up with Naomi, Rafe & Willow

Wednesday 29th February

We headed to Cranbourne to meet up with Naomie, Rafe and Willow..... at a Play Centre.... We left the Island a little later than I'd hoped - but figured we still had enough time to get there... but the joy of road works etc....  made it appear that we'd be about 15mins late....  I msg'd Naomi to let her know, she was happy about it - cause she was running late too....

We ended up only being about 5mins late - and had a great morning....

As always we had a great catch up, it felt like no time had passed, except that there was an additional child and Rafe had grown so much since last year....  

After we left the play centre - we took the kids back to the caravan park and Blake had his afternoon sleep while the rest of us relaxed and had a nice quiet time....

Superbikes 2012 - Day 7 - Chocolate Factory

Tuesday 28th February

We took the kids to the Chocolate Factory....  Jade was very excited and had remembered all of the things from when she'd gone there last (last time we went through - Blake was only 1 - so he slept through the entire tour).

New Games - and you can win chocolate......

(Pity I don't/can't eat chocolate anymore... but was still fun to play)

The kids loved the games....

As did the biggest kid...

They now have a "Chocolate Room" 

But don't believe their "here, email the picture to yourself" - because it's a lie!!!!  a lie I tell you!!!

(we did a family shot in the room and had it emailed - and it never arrived.... oh well)

Jade loved the Scribble Chocolate machine....

(I'm sure there's a better word for it.... but you move the machine around and draw with the chocolate... then wait for it to make it's way along the conveyor belt and then you can eat it - but it's horrible chocolate too!)

Then came the "make your own chocolate" machine....  you have options... white/milk/dark chocolate and your choice of fillings - Cola/Strawberry/Wasabi/Vegemite.....    So, we wanted to see what would happen if you ordered Wasabi...

Yup... it came out as Wasabi....   (still expecting it at this point to not actually have Wasabi in it)

Tested - and YES - Wasabi!

Jade got White chocolate with strawberry - Blake got Milk Chocolate with Strawberry.....

(Smarter than their father! hehe)

Superbikes 2012 - Day 6 - Powerwing -vs- Cool Carver

Monday 27th February

Blake had been taking off with Jade's powerwing - a lot....  she'd come outside to play and he'd be on it... and not wanting to be on his scooter.... so, we decided that to avoid major issues - we'd get him his own one...  and we managed to track down a "Cool Carver" from BigW.....   Best investment EVER.....  (but then Jade wanted it and was willing to let Blake have her powerwing)

Blake was eventually allowed to play on it....

The Cool Carver has a "swivel" feature.... I'm not sure what the function of it is - Jade was able to control it really well, but it got a little tricky for Blake.....  

Superbikes 2012 - Day 5 - Grumpy's Crazy Golf

Sunday 26th February

We headed to Grumpy's Crazy Golf for the morning with everyone.... the kids thought it was fantastic.....

Blake was very excited to start his career as a golfer....

He was THAT good that he didn't even need to wait for others to finish their goes....

This was a fun hole....  drop the ball into a pipe and watch it roll around and around... and around... zzz and around.... and finally go through the yellow hole at the bottom....

if they both hit the ball at once - surely it'll be twice as good a shot.... right?

After golf, Mom, Jade, Blake and I headed back to the cabin for Blake to have his sleep...  while we did that Jodie & Molly went with Phil, Amy & Kieran to have lunch - then they headed back to Grumpy's to play on the water slide....   Phil & Amy headed home.....

After Blake woke - it was time to head back to the beach.....
