Wednesday 23rd April
1pm - and the school is having their cross country.... ahhh - I love this school - I was able to go to work and then get to the school to watch the kids race.....
2008 boys lined up and ready to go....
Blake came in about 10th... but out of a reasonably large group.... so he was still happy :)

Jade was very excited - cause only half of her class were in the 2005 category - and those children were the youngest age group to be able to run outside of the school grounds... the younger kids in her class had to do laps within the school grounds.....
And they're off!
After about the first 100 metres - Jade was at the back of the pack... clearly not in a rush....
However, by the time they got into the "jungle" at the back of the school - she was in about 5th....
By the time she got out of the school grounds - she was in 3rd.... with a reasonable lead.....

I couldn't get the camera to work on Jade's ending part of her race - I was so frustrated and annoyed at the camera.... but for the last 100 metres - it came down to a race between Jade and Jacinta for 3/4 places......
Jacinta got just ahead of Jade at the finish line....
Jade was happy with her fourth place....
All of the 2005 ribbon kids....

(and most of them were from Jade's house)
