On the weekend Jade was great... she played happily in the back of the van with her new jigsaws as well as with all of Sam's toy animals when she turned up on Sunday... she always has fun when we go bush.... but part of going bush is not having the home toilet....
At Seeonee park (where this weekends trial was) - they have a Donger toilet setup... when we were there for the Christmas Break-up Trial - we went to the toilet the one night and there were a couple of frogs in the toilet... so Jade decided from that point onwards that if the toilet wasn't 100% clean - she didn't want to know about it....
We'd hoped all of this had passed... but no... Saturday night Mom took Jade up to the toilet (I was busy feeding Blake) - when they got there, there was a bug in the toilet... so that was it... Jade didn't want to know about it....
She came running back all excited
Jade - Mummy!!!! You're never going to believe it!!!!!
Me - What Jade? What?? (trying to sound as excited as she obviously was, and hoping that she had actually used the toilets and got over her frog fear...)
Jade - I did wees on the grass!!!!
Later that night:
Jade - Daddy
Rob - Yes Jade?
Jade - I have been thinking about it *pause* and I have decided *pause* that I would like a drink!
(I guess that beats "I want a drink" - and it's almost polite.... it just needs to be followed up with "please" - but we're getting there!)
