Monday 27th December....
So, for something different (unlike every single other local), on Monday we decided to head to Awoonga Dam to see it overflowing, this isn't something you ever get to see... so it's definitely worth doing....
And, given the amount of rain we've had lately, we needed to get the kids out of the house to do something new.... Blake had been awake since 4am, so not only was I buggered, but he was definitely hitting FERAL... so at 10am we decided to go for a drive to kill some time before lunch.....
Blake was asleep about 5 minutes into the trip... clutching onto his motorbike AND mickey mouse....
Ooops... Road closed! (we found that a lot out on our trip! eheh)

(and just for some reference.... here is what the Dam looked like when we were excited about it filling on 5th March 2010. The playground that you see in the pics is totally under water now, as is the toilet block right next to it! ICKY!!!!)
