Unfortunately with the end of the school year, comes the nearing of the end of daycare for Jade... and her best friend (well, one of) Alanah will be going to another school for prep.... But, we've organised for the girls to catch up over the break and hopefully they can stay in contact next....
There are a few of her friends that the parents wanted to get into the same school as Jade, unfortunately the school has had to put in place a "catchment" criteria to allow students into the school as it is one of the most popular schools in town.... luckily for us, we're smack bang in the middle of the catchment.....
(can you believe there's only 3 months difference in their ages?)
They really are best friends, and this week was Alanah's last week at the daycare... which has impacted on Jade who has taken a bit of convincing to get her to go to daycare since she left as Alanah used to arrive pretty much the same time she would and was always there when she left....

And here's Dylan the "Ladies Man" :)
Dylan started prep this year, and on the first day was wondering why Jade didn't go to prep with him as they've been grouped together since Jade was 2... (but only because Jade was pushed through the earlier rooms more quickly due to her being "advanced" for her age....)

(the whole reason for having the camera at the daycare centre was that Melissa had asked me to get a pic of her with a child for their wall..... and while I was there I got pics of two of the other staff members with kids - but without permission from the teachers or the kids parents - those pics obviously wont appear here.....)
