Before the kids left for their last day of school - we quickly did a hand mould... and I do mean quickly - it seriously only takes a few minutes...... (then you have to wait around for it all to set - but that's about 6-12hrs)
After the clay had set just a little - I scratched the date into the base
After school we took the mould out and started to break away the rubber mould to find the clay hands inside....
Little bits of rubber were left in the hands - we had to pick these out with a metal pokey stick (it's the thing I use to weed the vinyl - I'm sure it's got a proper name... )
And finished!
