Superbikes 2010 Trip - Day Four....

Yesterday was a bit cooler than it has been since we got here, so the kids were in Jeans and Jumpers.... but that's made me happy - I was looking forward to the cooler weather... and we've now got it... although it could make beach time interesting (so we'll just see how we go with that today....) - - The plan for the day was to head to Buchan caves... but we first had to get everyone fed... because my kids are early risers - they'd eaten their weetbix before anyone arrived....

Stripey Jade....

I wasn't the only one taking photos of things that may have seemed a little ordinary ;)

The best thing about being away is that there's a BBQ - most meals can be done on the BBQ - which means the men have to help prepare meals... shock to their system? oh well - they'll live.... although - for a Bacon and Egg Breakfast - I guess they were willing to put in the effort...

all rugged up and ready to tackle the world....

Jade put Blake's Hoodie up.... I'd tried earlier but he wasn't interested... but when Jade put it up - he just accepted it... does this mean he trusts her fashion sense more than mine???

Jade with her Hoodie up... works better when she lets me put her hair all the way back.. but she likes some of it "left long"

After Breakfast the boys took the kids to the park so that we could clean up.....

We loaded the kids into the cars and headed to the Buchan Caves.... I went here when I was about 8... I enjoyed them and wanted to see them again... and they were definitely worth the visit..... although - carrying a 15month old through there wasn't always a heap of fun.. you have to crouch down so low at some points it was a bit difficult to do that and try not to fall over and try not to bash Blake's head against the walls - but I managed it....

In case it's not instantly obvious what this is a photo of, there is a little creek running through the cave... I'm guessing it was only a few cm's deep at this point... but it was very pretty..

The tour guide..

Shiny Limestone...

we kinda got to wondering how long this had been forming if some of the other stallic tights and mights had been forming for millions of years.... we know that these railings have probably been up since at least the early 30's..... so that's probably at least 80years to build up that much....

We had to crouch down to walk through certain areas.... funniest thing was - none of the places we had to crouch down were any lower than Jade's head... but she still ducked down like everyone else - it was so cute to watch....

Blake just didn't look impressed in the caves at all, in any of the photos... but he did enjoy himself....

After we'd finished at the Caves, we headed back to Lakes Entrance to get some Fish'n'Chips for lunch and then went to find a play area to keep the kids amused for a bit....

Blake loved the big abacus....

Spider-Jade

Anyone that knew my brother when he was younger is going to see this as a "mini-Frank" photo.....

Zoning with Rob after his 3hr afternoon sleep....

How's that for Eyebrow action?

Jade & Damien playing "Where's Waldo" - or for the Aussies "Where's Wally" but in Computer Game format....

It's funny looking at Blake and Edmond next to each other and realising that there's a year between them..... Just when Edmond starts talking you realise that he's definitely older!

Jade wanted to help Rob cook dinner...

Damien and Jade playing Tag

Poor Edmond trying to keep up with Jade and Damien...

With the top photo, you can compare Jade with both Tharyn and Rob. It's clear she has got the best of both worlds.
