We got home from Swimming... Jade had lunch straight away... wasn't even 11am... but she was hungry - so it was good timing... (lunch = ham, gherkin, cheese, tomato ... finger food... she loves it)
Once she'd finished eating we finished watching Lazy Town and then I said that it was time for a sleep... and if she went to sleep quick enough - she'd hopefully wake before I had to go and pick up Xander from Big School (isn't it confusing?? he's only doing Kindy... Prep next year... I wonder if that'll be BIG BIG school.... ehehe - but the kids know what you mean - so that's all that really matters at the moment.... ) We went there this morning so that we knew where to pick Xander up from, Jade didn't want to leave... nothing really different from what she has at her Kindy (well daycare Kindy level... see? confusing!!!) - but different and Xander was there (even though he's at her daycare....)
Anyway, she went straight into her room at 12 and went straight to sleep.... I couldn't believe it - usually she's talking for about an hour or so before she decides it's time to sleep - but not today... she had a big weekend though - so she's probably buggered!
Blake had a really disturbed morning, everytime he went to sleep he got moved... he fell asleep in the car on the way over to Jaime's at 8:25... woke up until it was time to leave for Kindy ... then fell asleep in the car on the way to Kindy at 8:45... woke him up to go and check out the Kindy (Jade could be going to this one next year) - fell asleep in the car on the way to swimming at 9:15... managed to stay asleep for a bit at swimming - until Jade went off - then he was waking up... he went to sleep again on the way home from swimming at 10:40.... and finally got him off to sleep on our bed (again!!) at 11am...
btw. it's Blake who pulls the doona up to cover his face now... he's really got into a "snuggling" thing with any blankets that you put near him... he doesn't get one in his cot though.. (call me paranoid) he sleeps in a sleep sack..... (as did Jade)
