We only got home from Mom and Dad's last night at 9:30pm or so, so it was a very late night for Jade.... but she was still up at 6am like clockwork (except for the occassional morning when she's up earlier)..
Anyway, we were dressed and breakfasted by 7am and we headed back to Mom and Dad's place to see Uncle David and Aunty Rosemary before they left....
We'd been at Mom and Dad's for about an hour before Jade came and sat on my lap and clung to me... (and she's not a clingy kid by nature)... as soon as she did this I noticed that she was steaming up... but she just lay with her head on my lap (another thing she's not commonly known for..)... This wasn't a good sign... but she's only really been sick like this a couple of times - so you just don't see it coming...
It was time to go to the airport to see Uncle David and Aunty Rosemary off, Jade said she was well enough to go - and she didn't seem quite so hot - so we let her go... I stayed at the house because Blake had gone to sleep - and he's had a weekend full of no-sleep - so I didn't want to wake him...
When they came back, Jade crashed out infront of the TV watching RAGGS and she just seemed drained of energy - but other than that wasn't in any discomfort as such...
Then she got up.. said she had a sore tummy... Mom ran and got a bucket... just in time...
After that she said she was fine, so we got some fluids into her (including red jelly) - she was ok - and then crashed out on the bench on the back verandah... so rather than have to worry about her rolling off in her sleep we decided to move her into her room (yes, she has her own room at Mom and Dad's place)...
Put her down on the bed, then she said she was ok but wanted to go home... so just before I was about to pack her up into the car - she looked at me - coughed - and then was sick again...
We haven't had a fantastic afternoon... Jade finally crashed out on the bed and didn't move for 3hrs... (she went to bed at 7:30 per usual - she's still a bit warm, but she seems reasonably happy - just tired now)
Blake's been a bit warm, but I'm hoping that it was more outside temperature - rather than virus...
Blake had his first go in the walker today... he can't touch the ground... but that's the same as Jade's first time in a walker... he enjoyed sitting up - and the seat is really nice and comfy... so he could move around (in the seat) and look at people...
As you'd expect, Jade was there to entertain....
This was the happiest we could make her look today.....
Blake looks quite pleased with himself....(and he's got his grover toy)
and there's his feet swinging under him....
