We went to the shops yesterday to get Jade a new helmet (she outgrew her tinkerbell one) - there was Dora and Barbie and a really cute purple one with butterflies, she could have even got a new tinkerbell helmet in a larger size.... but NOOOOOO Jade picked up the "Cars" one... "It's got Mater!!!".... so, ok fair enough - we buy that one... her choice, I'm not going to force her to pick girly helmets.....
We turned into the street before Mom and Dad's place.... "I want a different helmet, I've changed my mind - we have to take this one back!".... "Sorry... you made your choice - I asked if you were sure, you were.... tough..." (I'm so mean!) Anyway, once she showed it to Grandpa and he said how cool it was, she was ok with it again... *phew*
So, this morning we headed over to Mom and Dad's place because Jade *had* to ride her bike so that she could wear her new helmet.... she was all excited, got her shoes on and straight onto the bike...
Blake slept the entire time....
We walked down to the local PCYC as there are the baseball fields there and a lot of open space... we had Jade riding around there, but she seems to be lacking the interest in really riding... she'll happily be pushed around - so we took her home and put the training wheels back on the bike... we'll try again at some other point...
We came home and it was time to get people to sleep.. Blake was out like a light by 11am and slept til 3:40 (that was until Jade went and poked him "oooh look - he's awake... I can play with him now...." - - - I so love 3yr old logic!) I decided to give Blake some nappy free time - as well as some tummy time (which he usually hates)....
Blake has discovered that he can put these pointy things at the end of his arms into his mouth.....

He got the idea of lifting his head off the ground... but was pretty much done with it after a few minutes....
Bathed - and back to sticking fingers into his mouth.....
