Xander had his 6th Birthday party on Saturday 31st July... one day early.... but the Marina was being taken up with a Multi Cultural Fair on the Sunday....
It was a great day for a party... unfortunately half of Gladstone thought the same thing - so we couldn't get a sheltered area near the BBQ.... (not that we needed a BBQ) .... I dropped Jade off with Jaime and headed home and to Mom and Dad's place to pick up Shades and tables..... then rushed back...
Due to Blake still being sick with Hand, Foot & Mouth - I had to leave him at Mom and Dad's place for the afternoon.... so it was just Jade & I.... which is always nice too....
We ended up finding a perfect spot under some trees so most of the area we were in was shaded as well as having a picnic table there... (not the one the kids are at though....) it turned out really well :)

and this day was going to be no exception..... down came the Piñata... intact
and they're all getting in there... not to get the goodies - but to just rip it open...
Let's break off the leg... that'll work for sure!!!

he had a crush... was so cute.... and Jade definitely returned the affection.... :)

The party was a huge success... the kids had a great time.... We got back to Mom and Dad's place in time for Blake to wake up too... how lucky was that?? heh
