Things are starting to happen again....The decomposed granite was delivered and the start ground prep for the driveway and gate slab so that we can finally get the gate installed so that the kids can go happily play in the yard without constant supervision.....
This is where the ground was dug out to put the slab for the gate....
No more old and crappy driveway :)

The driveway is to wrap around to front door to avoid wet/muddy walks to the house in the pouring rain.... (yay cyclone season!!!!)
View of most of the driveway area.... BIG driveway! should park 6 cars... which saves visitors parking on the busy street..... but also makes a great skating area - cycling area and basketball hoop and court area..... multi-functional!

I am so glad that we decided to do the brickwork rather than using the sleepers.... definitely a better finish....
(Aren't my parents the best??? I did work with them... I stopped to take photos... but my parents really are a godsend!)
