Sunday 8th August.....
My third trials comp for the year.... (clearly hasn't been a great year for trials for me, but with the trials calendar having been created solely around one person - and not around the "trials" scene which would have made more sense, it clashed with most of the Brisbane Trials that Mom, Dad and Frank go to... which means I didn't have someone to look after the kids so that I could ride.....)
Anyway, I made it to this trial - so that was good....
Rob was busy working at home (surprise surprise).... so it was just the kids and I that went up.... I didn't have the best day... I ended up coming 2nd last or something horrific.... but my bike didn't like the one water section - so after going through the water - it just kept stalling... and by the end of the day the bike had had it.....
But, trials is all about the kids - and really - that's where the enjoyment is......
"Wait up Grandpa.... I wanna come too!!!!"

Ahh... she got better... that's a much better smile....
Oh, I was wrong...
Sam had her new bike.... she's really picked up with her trials since she stepped onto a modern bike....
Apparently she can balance it standing still for 10minutes without an issue....

(Blake tripped over prior to this pic - and got a piece of grass up his nose which scratched it and got it bleeding..... he wasn't smacked in the face with the rock he's holding.... but he does look like he's about to go beat someone up!)
Waiting for Grandpa to take him on the bike again....
Given up waiting, he's going for a walkabout to see if he can convince Grandpa to take him again....
Oh Yeah!!!!
(oh - and note that he's trying to "stand up" like Jade does - so he's just holding himself up (he was off the tank) by his arms....)
Here you can see that he's relaxed his arms - so he's on the tank again - but legs still dead straight because he's "standing" like Jade.... eheh
