Saturday 21st August.....
I took the kids out for the morning and while we were gone, Pete came over and fixed up the last bit of the driveway works.... Dirt up to the level of the concrete.... all the way around....
While Blake went for his sleep - I took Jade downstairs with her scooter to muck around on the driveway.....
No more trip hazard! :)
Jade has worked out how to use the brake on the scooter... :)
Once Blake woke, we brought him downstairs and let him play with his trike - I was getting him to the top of the driveway and letting him roll down... the pics don't show it - but there is a slope to the driveway - which works well for the kids :)
I had been watering the "dirt" to see if we can encourage some grass to grow - and of course Blake rode the bike off the concrete and into the mud....
He was most upset when he got his foot muddy....
About half an hour after Blake woke up, Mom and Dad came up to bring Jade's BMX and Blake's Strider bike up so that the kids could ride those on the driveway.....
Concerned look on Blake's face... not sure what it was about... but it was cute :)
Blake loves this spinny toy... he always holds it up to his face... I guess to feel the vibrations....
There are videos to come - but for some reason it's not letting me upload them at the moment... and I want to get some sleep - so I'm giving up for tonight - will post the videos tomorrow....
