Brooweena Classic Trials Competition - 2009 - Day Two - Daytime.....

I went around and took photos of the bikes that were there... well some of them... but none stood out more than Wayne Stark's wife's bike..... they're not usually pink... but when you do up a bike - it needs a new paint job -and people are starting to paint them up differently...

His wife has breast cancer - we believe this is why it's the colour it is.... although - it truelly makes it a girls bike! :)

This is Dad's 247 - which - until this weekend has been under wraps... I wasn't allowed to post photos of it at all.... It's come up so nicely....

Rob ready to take off on my classic bike... (this is a 1977 Montesa Cota 348... it's also the first trials bike I bought when we moved back to Gladstone - I didn't buy it simply for one trial a year... I just love my modern bike too much - so the 348 is NOW a "one trial a year" bike)

Here we're walking down to where the sections are.... Jade's up with the ladies on the right.. you can only just see her.... she didn't stick so close for the weekend which was great - she went off and played with the other kids... was nice to see her with a bit of independence...

This is Kal Daley... he's the guy we buy a fair amount of our gear from... helmets etc.... he kinda lost it a bit getting out of the section... :)

This guy just looks impressive... he did end up losing it too... but he doesn't look worried....

Blake happily watched from the pram... (well -for a few hours anyway....then he'd had enough)

Frank on his new acquisition... This is a 1984 TL... it's a 4-stroke - like his modern bike.... (we all have 2's)

It appears that it doesn't matter how many Montesa's Dad does up - he'll always ride his trusty TY...

This guy obviously got bored with making his bikes shiny... and this year turned up with a painted helmet too... nice job huh?

Jade and Sam watching with Rob...

This is Angela (Sam's mother)...

Blake was watching Uncle Frank at this point.... such a funny Uncle!

Dad waiting to ride...

Greg Paton, Smack and Dad lined up waiting to ride....

I had hoped to ride, but it turned out that I was better off not riding because Blake didn't really want to spend all weekend in the Pram just watching... maybe next year.....
