Sydney Trip... Day Four.... (Afternoon)

We got back from the playhouse around 1pm... it'd been such a big morning for Blake that he decided to keep sleeping.....

He managed this for a little while... then Jade decided she had to hold him again...

We then visited Aunty Bet who is currently in hospital with a bad back....

Naturally she was quite taken with him.... (he slept through it all!)

We'd gone shopping Sunday Morning and i found these!! (Well I didn't find Blake - he just tagged along!!)

I realise I'd always said that I wasn't big on Barbie's - and I wasn't going out of my way to get Jade one... but on Saturday when we were at the park, Jade found a Barbie Doll on a piece of equipment - and decided she'd play with it...

We were very quick to make sure she understood that it wasn't her doll and she'd have to put it back, so she was really good when Rob took her to go and find the little girl that it belonged to (who was also about Jade's age and had gone through an emotional time when she realised that she'd lost her Barbie)...

We said to Jade that we would get her her own Barbie Doll... So when we went shopping on Sunday morning we let her pick one (that's never a fun experience)... but she ended up choosing a Mermaid Barbie (which is also a bath toy)... she's named her Darby... and she just loves her to bits... the best thing about it is that she can't be dressed up... and her clothes aren't removable! yay!!! (she also got a Barbie Horse that she has called "Ka-choosa" (I'm not sure the spelling) - it's a Pegasus and it's wings and feet light up... it plays all kinds of sounds and it's made for a very happy little girl....
