The yard even LOOKED like a party was about to take place!
All of the gift bags set out...
Cups for each kid - with a torch and a glowstick in them....
(each torch was named so that if the kids dropped them, they knew which one was theirs)
The cups all had the Super Blake B on them too :)
Drew made an amazing Joke head for on the wheelie bin to encourage kids to put their rubbish in the bin.... it was mostly a success!
Rob had gone out to get some stuff for the spa - so we put some smelly liquids into the water... not that it made any real difference....
We hung all of the capes up around the fence so that kids could pick one when they arrived....
Blake was happy with his blue cape....
Angus wanted a blue cape too....

(hey, it was HOT and it was airconditioned in there... the kids were way better off than we were outside! There were a few of us who had considered taking chairs into the maze and sitting in there for the day.. it was great!)

(these two have been best friends at daycare since they were about 18months old... Blake always came home talking Ryder-This and Ryder-That... then we found out when he was about 2.5 that Ryder was exactly the same at home about Blake... and it took us that long to bump into each other in the picking up process!)

Spa Time!
After the majority of the kids had gone, our friends hung around with their kids and we threw them into the spa.... It was a great day... a very long day, but great all the same :)
