Friday 3rd October
We headed out to the property after we'd finished all of our Dr visits.... one for Jade and one for Rob....
Mom, Dad and Frank came to the property as well as Marney and Angus (who arrived Saturday afternoon)
Jade was happy to have her Hammock out at the property

The kids left their shoes at Gran and Pa's... so they had to wear their bike boots all weekend.... (CLEVER KIDS THEY ARE!)
Betty came out too.... we weren't sure how she'd go at the property... The fact that she's deaf means that you can't call her if she wanders off... so you have to keep an eye on her....
We now have a shower at the property - with hot running water!
Really doing this camping thing in Style!

Blake's new 36v 16" Oset.... we bought it for $800 from a guy on Gumtree.... best investment...
the 24v 16" Oset isn't powerful enough and the 48v 20" Oset is just a little too big for Blake at this point.... so this one is perfect....

Angus was keen to give the old Oset a go.... he'd never been on a motorbike - so it was a great starting bike for him....
Blake's started standing up a lot more now.... :)
We then decided to go fishing for yabbies......
We hadn't prepared for this - so we used dental floss and we cut some meat off some steaks that we had for the weekend....
Everyone had their meat on string - so we were ready to go.....

Once we got back to camp, the boys were straight back on the bikes....
Even the big boys went for a ride......
Blake was a bit confused about why Grandpa was riding his PeeWee...

then it was soccer time....

The boys had a great time....
Jade wanted to join in too....
The next day Dad set up some cones for Blake to get him riding on the hill....
Jade even got on her bike and went for a ride...
Falling off didn't deter Blake....

Jade got a burn on her arm from the exhaust of the bike when she lent over to pick it up....
While we waited for the bikes to charge again, we went for a walk up to the dam to show Marney (and see if there were any more yabbies to be found).
Blake's bike was still going strong....

We had a great weekend, we had planned to stay til Monday, as it was a long weekend... but everyone else was leaving on Sunday - so we packed up too.... and enjoyed a day at home instead....
