The kids had crazy hair day at school...... I got the coloured hair chalk a couple of weeks before - I was prepared for this... unfortunately, I hadn't looked at them until the morning of and instead of them being a spray on - it was kinda like a paint pen or a giant nikko... which would have been great - if it had been able to be squeezed onto the hair.. but no... it took a lot of convincing to get the hair painted....
BUT... the end result was awesome..... Blake didn't want pink or purple - so he got green and orange.. and ended up looking a little like an upside down pumpkin.....
Jade's hair was a little more challenging.... she wanted it in segments and then each individual pony tail to be left out - instead of tying them back into the style she usually has for school....
So, first... paint the sections....
Then paint the individual pony tails....
This took a lot longer than I thought and we only just managed to get the kids to school in time - I got to work with 2 minutes to spare!
Oh, and this is how my hand ended up ... luckily with it being chalk, it washed off easily enough....
