Monday 10th August
Late Sunday I noticed that Nikki had a massive gash in her hind leg.... It wasn't bleeding - it didn't seem to irritate her too much.. but on Monday morning we took her to the vet, just to make sure.. we were given two options... either leave it and it would heal - but it would take time and there was still a risk of infection due to grass etc being in there... or to operate.... so we opted for option 2 .... she wasn't very happy about going off to the vet....(but, how many animals get excited about the vets...)
I think she was probably more horrified about having a bare bum!
She settled back in well that night.... I think she liked being fussed over... :)
