Jade got her second commendation on assembly today.... once she gets the ACTUAL card I'll make sure to get a photo of it and the first one she got...... (it took a couple of weeks to get her card last time - and at that stage my blog was about 3 weeks outta whack.... one thing leading to the next... I didn't end up getting a photo of the card - or Jade holding it - so I'll make sure to get that sorted once she gets this card....)
Jade's commendation last time was for her standing up in front of the whole class and telling them about her trip away to Phillip Island and tell everyone about everything she did while she was away...
The commendation card this time was for a Pirate Story that Jade wrote where she "Pirate Jade" made Blake walk the plank - and he was very scared about the shark "Greg" that was below.... so the entire prep to 3 kids know that she wants her brother to walk the plank and is expecting Greg to nibble him up..... what an imagination she has!

(for commendation awards they don't go down to the front - they all just stand up so that the other kids can see who's getting the awards)
Mrs Horn told Jade to turn around so that I could get a photo of her.... she was very happy with her award and even happier that Mom and I were there to watch her.....
