Father's Day was a little different this year, no expensive presents for anyone :)
(mainly because the presents earlier in the year have more than blown the budget... but I figured that Rob's pretty much covered for presents for the next 40yrs after getting the Triumph...)
We also made the cards this year... Jade loves drawing... so we decided to put the personal touch on this year.... I even bought Jade some textas - which I haven't let her have before... (see my last post about the scissors.. and imagine what she'd be like with textas left unattended!)
Rob wanted Bacon and Eggs for breakfast... so we organised with Mom and Dad that we'd do that before heading up to Rocky for the trials comp... so we had to be up and at Mom and Dad's place at 6am... (leaving by 7:30 for Rocky)...
Of course, that didn't happen... we needed eggs... we needed to get the kids in the car... we needed to get this that and the other done... anyway, we were only 15mins late... so it wasn't too bad - and we still ended up leaving on time....

For Rob's present this year, we got him some lollies (there was a funny tin with lollies in it... was just something different) - and we got him t-shirts for Jade and Blake... (which yeah, sounds odd... but they were "Daddy" shirts.. so it counts... and Rob loved them....)
