Saturday 18th July
When we arrived at soccer, the team that the Martians were playing only had 3 players turn up.... the coaches discussed it and were going to play 3 per side - but that would have meant that 5 kids from our team would have been subbed off at a time... so, I asked Blake to switch teams and the other kids on the team were asked who would like to play on the other team and Ben went over with Blake... everyone else was dead set that they wanted to stay on their own team....
Blake and Libby were both number 5 for the day....
Blake and Ben were awarded Player of the Match for opting for play for the other team and still giving it their best when on the field.... (though, I imagine it got confusing at times)
After soccer, we stopped off and picked up Jacinta and Leo for an afternoon play.....
Nuggety Lunch....
