Friday 17th July
Jade had spent the last three days with all of the beginner band students from the various local public schools and we were to attend State High for a performance of the songs they'd learnt.....
Kids waiting on their siblings to come out to play....
Blake was a hit with these two girls who just thought he was the cutest thing ever.... almost like a play toy... :)
The State High stage has not changed since I was here 21yrs ago....
and out they come......
I didn't take our camera down because I wasn't sure if they'd be happy with people taking photos..... next year I'll know better (for this year, phone photos!)...
(The principal of the school went around and took pics of all of the kids at the performance and put them up on the school facebook page....This is the pic she got of Jade)
The kids did so well... I was so proud.... Jade was just perfect and didn't miss a beat...
