Jade's first Soccer Training....

Thursday 26th May

Jade had her first soccer training... I was a bit nervous as to how it was all going to go given that she was already tired when I picked her up from school and we headed straight to Gymnastics for her 3:30-4:30 session - then soccer training started at 4:30 (which we were - and probably will always be - 10mins late for...) and goes til 5:30.....  (then I'm supposed to be at Roller Derby at 5:30.... so I'm guessing that's off the cards now, not that I mind - you sacrifice for your kids... so it's all good :))

Anyway, we got to training - and Jade happily went straight into training (luckily knowing Kaden from her Prep class... she did everything she was asked to do - and had a great time....)

Jade with the coach and other teammates

This was a bit of a worry - but it didn't take her long to learn that you don't use your hands...

Xander & Bailey  had their training too....

Jade lined up with her teammates....

The coach kicking the ball to the kids - they had to stop and kick it back...

And then they had to do the aeroplane.... inspired by Trent the coach...

Kaden's turn...

Cat, Jaime & Amanda...

kicking the ball backwards..

Jade & Kaden

My little poser.... :)

Kaden takes a bit more convincing....

The kids were asked to move the soccer net so that they could have a game against the other Under 6's.... they happily played in the net instead... :)

The tongue out reminds me of a happy running puppy.....

Ready for their game...

The other Under 6's team is made up mainly of girls... Jade was a bit upset that she wasn't put on that team... but soon got over it when we explained that there is a girl on her team...  she was extremely worn out by the end of that day.....
