Last week we missed Dad's birthday... I'd spent the entire day getting ready for my school reunion... and on Sunday - Mom and Dad headed off to a trials comp - so we didn't see them that day either (except for when they brought the kids home at 7am....which put any idea of a late night out of the question... we were home and in bed by 12:30....)
Well, today after Gymnastics - Rob and Jade headed off to Bunnings to buy Dad's birthday present... Blake and I stayed at home to finish making Dad's cake...
he enjoyed the spatula thingy ... but you can see that he's not 100%... teething isn't fun for this little guy....

I meant to post a pic of this a few weeks back... Jade's plate has been done for her bike... laminated with dora and boots stickers.... she's a happy little blobby now... and we're taking her bike next weekend to Brooweena so that she can ride with the other kids around the paddock....

Jade got bored with painting the "eye-spy" and started painting her hands - and then using her hands to paint her shirt... ehhee poor Grandpa's shirt!!!!
