So, what do you do when you have the most wonderful mother in the world?? You use and abuse her! Well, not really - but you "utilise" her....
Mom came up with me today to the house - and we cleared out all of the toys from the nursery (for the last year or so - this room has been Jade's "play room")... the Cot WAS full of all of the toys that are currently on the single bed in the room - and also toys that I'd been given over the years by friends and ex's.... So, all of my toys have made their way to the Salvation Army (they're all pretty much brand new and in perfect condition - so they were welcomed down there...) (I have kept some of those toys though).
The only thing left to do now is to get the change table (it's been on order just over a month - so it should only be a few weeks away) - it's a pine timber like the cot - so it should fit in quite nicely...
We've also got to get all of the clothes out of the wardrobe and all of the cloth nappies and shove them through the wash and have them ready - but the later we can leave that - the better :)
Although, having said that - we've only got a max of 9 weeks left - so we're quickly running out of time.....
