CQTC Trials Breakup 2016

Saturday 26th November

Last trial for the year..... and this year it was completely different.... this was such a fun day.....

Sticking to plan.... even though I'd still rather have pancakes for breakfast!

Time to go and check out the course.....

This is a limbo.... it's the start of the course, you have to ride under it without bumping the bar off....

You can ride AROUND these tyres... or you can go over.... going over would be quicker - and this event is all about doing things in the least amount of time....

Some bumpy ground... this can all be ridden around....

The see-saw.... this was the first event that I had ever ridden over this.... it looks harder than it actually is....

and then a tight turn in this circle without knocking over any logs...

over or around this log.....

a quick weave around these cones - or you have to do a wheelie for the entire length of the section without dropping your wheel....

Ross checking out the course on the Oset

My little poser.....

myself and Joe

Frank stole my... erm.. I mean... Rob's bike....

Poor Puggle's bike died.. .and he had to push it back to camp from the back end of the block....

May have been a bit pooped once he got back..... but he didn't give up....

There's a first for everything....after 25yrs riding trials (well, if you include the time off between teenage and moving home with Rob and taking it up again) ... I finally beat Dad!! By a convincing 6 seconds! As punishment, he's making me take my own bike home!

The trial is over... and now it's time to play....

Blake with his 2nd from the Club Championship trial earlier in the year - end of year prize giving is always a fun time :)
