Thursday 29th December....
It's been a while since we went to Keppel.... last time we went Jade was only 5months old.... and Rob and I headed over to spend the weekend there.... when the resort was still open.... now that's closed and there are only a few shops operating on the island.... there's still cabins and tentcity to stay - so it's not a completely useless island....
Anyway, I booked for us all to head over on the boat - and then do the glassbottom boat tour.... (which would have been better if the weather wasn't so choppy... we didn't see a lot - but it was still reasonably nice...
Jade loved looking out over the ocean.... but it was so chopping - I'm suprised she didn't get flung from the seat and into a passenger...

Blake was lap jumping the entire time between me, Kurtice, Michael and Ingrid...
Poor Blake had got another stye on his eye... which luckily burst before we left home that morning.... and the saltwater did it the world of good.....
This is the part of the one Island where Kurtice is planning on building his mansion...
Back on the Island....
We then had a few hours to kill on the Island - so we headed off to the Kiosk and got lunch... then headed down to the beach to swim.... I did a fair amount of swimming before I got the camera... so there's no pics of me in the water (Rob was working this week - so he didn't come with us - so he couldn't even get pics)
Blake got out of the water when I went to get the camera cause he was too cold.....

We were all exhausted by the time we got back to Yeppoon..... Narelle drove my car home with Kurtice and the kids and I happily sat in the back of Michael and Ingrid's car and didn't have to think too much for the drive home... :)
