Mudflats with Jordan, Zavier, Jade, Xander, Blake & parents......

Saturday 30th July

We'd arranged with Lauren to head to the mudflats on Saturday afternoon for the girls to ride their motorbikes... Jade's suddenly got an urge to ride her Oset... and Jordan has a little 70cc Suzuki...

With Jaime trying to organise a surprise party for Xander, she asked if he could come over for the afternoon... so we opted for have him for the entire night so that she could get the cake finished and everything else she wanted without any chance of him finding out.... (luckily we hadn't said anything to Jade about a party for Xander or she would have blabbed...)

Jade had a bit of a fall, so was having a bit of a sad... which lasted all of about 20 seconds... Rob sped the bike up for her and she blasted off into the distance... (which did end in a cloud of dust.... but it didn't deter her)

Zavier wasn't sure what to think of the grass... he was attempting to put his feet on it - and then wasn't sure whether to proceed... so his dad picked him up and put him down in the middle of it all so that he'd have to face his fears.... that didn't end well :)

Xander got a go on Jade's bike....

Unfortunately in all the excitement of getting up and taking off... we'd forgotten to get him changed into jeans... he had gloves and helmet... and.... shorts..... and unfortunately, on top of that.... 6yr olds are unbreakable in their eyes.... and that kid has a lead wrist... he went around a corner - full speed and low sided.... slid knee first into the ground...
