Sunday 21st August
We headed to Tannum Sands for a brunch/lunch gathering.... Cat and her boys came to meet up with us...
We had a fantastic day and the kids ran riot making the most of the fantastic weather and great play equipment....
It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a picture of these four all looking at the camera ..... IMPOSSIBLE!
(but that didn't stop me trying!)

Greg turned up to spend a little time... basically the kids saw him for about a minute before they all decided it was time to head down to the beach and swim.... (and yes, 20mins before all of this - we were wearing jumpers! - kids are NUTS!)

Where we stopped to play was fantastic... basically no waves so the kids were quite happy to just run in and out of the water....

Blake (my chilly bubby) wasn't in the water too long before his lip was quivering and he wanted out....

The wind was really blowing Tiny's hair around - I was hoping that you'd be able to notice it more in the photo - but he's still cute!

Back at the BBQ area - the kids washed off in the puddle under the tap... rather than having cold showers....
Blake ventured onto the flying fox.... he thought it was fantastic.... (Jade is dragging him back to the start.... I was too busy with my fingers in my mouth fretting as he was going down to get a decent photo)

The other kids were all playing under the castle - except for Blake who thought the spiral climber was worth a lot of attention....

We didn't leave the beach until 2:30 or so... So we didn't get Blake down for a sleep.. Tiny slept most of the drive home... we let the kids have a fairly quiet afternoon and then got them to bed by 6:30 - at which point Bethia and Rob headed to the movies to watch the new Planet of the Apes movie which they enjoyed... (although I think it was more for the popcorn and maltesers.... which I might add they didn't bring any home for me!!!!!!)
I was happily asleep before they got home and the kids slept brilliantly.... was another fantastic day with family and friends :)
