Monday 22nd August
We headed to Spinnaker Park with the sole purpose of getting some decent pics of the kids as well as pics with Bethia and Rob with their kids..... apparently the kids had other ideas about it.... and it turned out to be a bit of a fizzer.... but we still managed a few pics.....
Not quite at the "smile" stage...
These two have it down pat...

Maybe if I just got two of them in it.... Fail.....
Ok, lets put some adults in there to try to control them.... Fail....

Looking more promising.... but at this point tiny climbed out of Bethia's arms and that was that.....
So, lets let them run around a bit and try again in a while....

There is a reason I'm an accountant and not a photographer....
Ok, lets get rid of the little one who wont look at a camera and bring Tom in... He and Jade proved that they could pose nicely....
Hrm.... I guess we're not taking this seriously.... but what 5yr old would???

Bethia and the boys were easier.... maybe it's a mother thing....
Yup.... she's got it sussed....
At this point we figured we'd attempted everything we could think of - so we decided to give up and just leave the kids to go play.....
straight to the beach... and straight back to putting his head into the sand...
So, the boys have been dressed the same since Bethia arrived... or at least similar (as they had different shirts on Saturday) - but everytime they got dressed they'd very excitedly push their stomachs together and say "Same!!!!"
Naturally - you can't get them to do this on command..... apparently "push your tummys together" means "show me your belly button!"

We took the kids to McDonald's as Bethia said that the McDonald's in England don't have playlands.... the kids loved it.... we then headed home so that Blake could have a sleep.... and although he went quiet in his room for a couple of hours - I seriously doubt he actually slept - when I went in to check on him and he was on the floor playing with his cars quietly.....
