Wednesday 20th July
Alana and I got to Daycare on Tuesday to find that ABC had yet again done their "tomorrow we're having a dress-up day" - giving us all of 2hrs to go shopping to get gear for the kids..... (Thanks ABC!!!)
Alana and I hit BigW and found nothing.... while in there - we found that Woody had a yellow shirt with red stripes - so we figured we'd get yellow t-shirts and draw the stripes on them.... but, no yellow shirts... so we headed to Best'N'Less - still nothing....
In the reject shop we managed to find "Sheriff" kits... $2 - which included boot spurs as well as a sheriff badge - a gun and belt & a mask... not sure why a Sheriff would have a need for a mask - but it was in there too - and for $2... who's going to care???
Anyway, so we got that - and it was 5pm.... luckily Kmart is open late - so we headed there next... we managed to find a Jessie Dressup - which would work for Ava... so we're still on the lookout for stuff for the boys....
Luckily we found flannelette shirts for the boys... Mom had scarfs and I had jeans and boots.....
In the morning was the fun of trying to get Blake to wear the outfit... there was no "hoodie" ... there were no "flashy shoes" and no "buzz" or "ben10" shirts..... I managed to convince him that dressing like Woody would be fun... unfortunately he then argued that Woody has yellow boots.... not Black... so then we had to go netsurfing to find pics of cowboy boots that were black with spurs..... unfortunately - most cowboy boots are tan..... last straw "J'Bee is going to wear your other boots.. the same as these ones" response "ahhh.... okaaaaaaaaaay!" - - no more dramas....
