Sunday 20th February
Our night in the hotel room was great, the kids slept all night... almost.... at about 3am - Blake fell out of bed.... but he just climbed back into bed and kept sleeping.... so I am not sure if he even woke up, or if he kept sleeping and just put himself back to bed... (makes me wonder if he falls out of bed at home)
We left the hotel room and headed to some shopping centre (Rob knew how to get there, I didn't need to know what it was called) - we had to get a few things and Rob wanted to take the kids to "Build-a-Bear"... I was a bit hesitant - but ended up going anyway!
We got to the island around 3pm - Blake had fallen asleep in the car on the way down about 30mins before we arrived at the island.... I was a bit nervous that he was going to be overtired-feral all afternoon - but when we got to the cabin - he went back to sleep on the bunk...
So, I got all the luggage out of the cars and Rob took Jade to the park so that Blake could sleep as long as possible....
Jade loves the park at the island....
Within 5mins - Jade had made a friend..... Amber....
Soon after, she came back to the cabin to get her box of toys....
Once Blake woke, I was able to make the kid's beds....
Our room, it's so nice having your own bedding... or maybe I just really like the King Sized Doona... :)
(especially when it's cold!)

(oh, did I mention that Rob got me a GHD for Valentines day? *grin*)

The "proof" that the cabin can be clean, that is until I let Rob and the kids loose on the place... so we'll see with time how messy it ends up....
Last year we had to re-arrange this area so that we could put the port-a-cot in there.... but this year we get to leave it and have a bit more floor space!

Ahh... overcast.... yay!!! (beats the heat and humidity that is Gladstone!)

It was a very late night, and Blake was extremely buggered by the end of it... :)
At 3am Blake woke sleeping at the foot of Jade's bed and was a bit sad and confused because he couldn't find his pillow.... it took a little convincing, but he managed to get back to his pillow and go back to sleep... getting up at 8am (local time) - Jade didn't get up til nearly 10am.....
